Damien Wilson came through Phoenix this week. He had a tragic accident at work. He cute off half of his thumb a few days pryer to his AZ visit. I must say it was one of the most gruesome things i have seen i a while! It got cut off at the knuckle . It looked freshly stitched and was still seeping a little blood from the seems. It was quite gruesome, but that was just the start of it. he then proceeded to hold up a canister filled with a clear liquid and something floating in it. he gave it a good little shake and then set it down on the counter . I looked closer and came to realize that it was the other half of his thumb floating in a embalming fluid . It was pail and absolutely disgusting! You could see the bone and muscles from the back end. and the thumb nail still in tacked made it so real. He then proceeded to tell me how he is saving it because he was going to get it se-rounded by resin and make a neckless out of it. haha none of this seemed to effect Damien at all! i must say i would be freaking out if half my thumb was chopped off! lol Damien is the man! he may need to give up his thumb war career though.
